FAQ

Do you have a shop we can visit?

We are an online store only at the moment.  We create all our products in our factory in Wesburn, VIC, but we do not have a showroom at the moment.  As we have machinery frequently running, insurance will not allow visitors.  If you live locally and wish to click and collect, please contact us and we can organise this.

Do you post internationally?

United States & Canada: We send all our products to North America with no issues
Europe: We send all our products to Europe with no issues, although be aware that you will need to pay VAT if applicable upon receipt of the products
New Zealand: NZ customs can have issues with wood products.  Please contact us for more information
All other countries: Please contact us for more information

How long before items are dispatched?

Our non-personalised products (e.g. sample packs, cake stands, centerpieces) are typically dispatched within 1-2 days.

Personalised products are typically dispatched with 1-2 weeks of design approval.

Yes, all our wood products are fully dried before they leave our shop.

Do you treat the wood slices with chemicals?

We do not treat our wood slices in any way with the exception of wedding coasters which are coated in a water resistant sealer.  All other products are natural and perfect for pyrography and other crafts.

How can you be eco-friendly when you cut down trees?

We specifically target invasive introduced species (we don't cut down natives at all).  An invasive species of tree will enter an area and quickly begin to outcompete our native trees.  By cutting them down while they are young, we prevent them from spreading and keep our bushland native and pristine.  We mostly target Monteray pine (Pinus radiata) and White poplar (Populus alba).

Non-native species can be animal homes too...

We do get questioned occasionally about whether we should be cutting down trees at all as they could be animal homes.   Almost all the trees we cut down are far too small to house mammals.  It is our opinion that the native trees that grow up and replace the invasive species will eventually make much better homes for animals with the added benefit of not spreading seeds and causing and even bigger issue down the track.
